“Unbalanced” Illustration Friday Entry
Here is my entry for Illustration Friday. The topic this week was “Unbalanced”, hence the funny guy on a wire. Unbalanced is pretty much how this blog is at the moment. I have this great new theme, and no time to stuff my own images and info into it at the moment as I’m getting ready for a big family trip to London this weekend. I’ll be offline till I get back, but have sketchpad, and will update as soon as I get back. Hope you like the image. I’m trying to work towards more freelance illustration, and away from window displays, in-house ad layouts and website graphics.

I had a look at your entry Justin – great minds think alike. I just wanted to get away from the see-saw idea. I see you are an animator – very cool, I almost went on to study animation myself.

Thanks! Hadn’t really thought of it that way – I guess I dress the people I draw in the sort of stuff I wear unless a project has specific guidelines.

Very funny take on the prompt! I really like the lettering and the composition. The lettering helps to give the feeling he is going to topple over.
